It's the dumbest thing.
And again, this is the problem with the reality reckoning that hasn't really happened.
When you have people who are rewarded for behaving really badly on TV, who can't emotionally regulate, she's famous on this show for having the most unhealthy romantic relationships ever.
To choose her to find a romantic partner on TV is crazy behavior.
You had to say, hey, we want a little slice of this.
We want a little slice of this person's toxicity and we want it on our shows for money.
I actually think this is going to sound crazy, David.
I actually think they've gotten better.
This is a bad example, but I'm telling you in the initial launch period of reality TV, the stuff we used to see, like you can't believe it.
You see episodes of like Old Housewives.
You see stuff with like Jillian Michaels.
You see what they used to do where they would take like heavyset people and give them a makeover on the swan.
Like you saw what people were subjected to on reality TV in the early aughts.
And it was so much worse than it is today.
So it's sad for me to say as a reality TV historian that this is actually, we're still, overall, we're still improving.
