Yeah, we were married by that point.

We'd already lost one baby.

Actually, that was the word.

We were supposed to get married on Boxing Day and I was pregnant and I'd got this whole thing planned that I was going to stand up and give my speech and I was going to say, thank you all the guests for coming here.

But there's one guest who wasn't on the guest list who's managed to sneak in.

We are going to have a baby and this is the final guest on the guest list and it would be amazing and everybody would be so happy.

But on Christmas Eve, we went for our 12-week scan and they couldn't find a heartbeat.

And at that age, you don't, you know, now, you know how many first pregnancies end in miscarriage.

And so, you know, but I had no idea.

And they, I'd had my beautiful, my first and only ever manicure to get ready for the wedding.

And they had to remove the nail varnish in order to put the thermometer on my finger.

And we were just so distraught.

Like all the doctors and nurses were crying because we were just this lovely young couple who were like getting married in two days and our baby had just died.

And we came back from the hospital and we'd been planning to spend that Christmas with our parents before we went to the wedding.

So we'd got nothing in.

So on Christmas Day, he had to like drive around and find a garage where we could find some like mince pies and some like sliced ham.

And we had our Christmas together, just the pair of us.

And it was the most pure crying I've ever done in my life.

but that night we'd got our wedding rings ready to wear for the wedding and we just lay in bed and our hands were wet with crying and we just put our rings on each other and like that was when we got married that night like the wedding the next you know two days later didn't count it was that night we put our wedding rings on each other and that was when we got married is that the lowest point of your life losing your baby
