So I do get a lot of that and there's not much I can do about it.

I like writing with my books.

I like writing advice books.

I think it's an underserved, not enough people are playing in that genre.

So there's that piece of it.

Another critique I get is, well, you seem busy.

So why are you writing a book about slow productivity?

To which I answer, well, I'm not as busy as you think.

I sequence things.

I do things one thing at a time.

I take the summers off and it adds up over time to look like a lot.

That's kind of the point.

The paradox of slow productivity is when you do less and slow down, you produce more stuff that people notice.

So that's another critique I've been getting is like, uh,

You seem too busy.

And then there's a whole other critique, which I get, which says, don't give advice about how to deal with the overload of work.
