The Northampton Saints halfback first tweaked the muscle during their Six Nations defeat to Ireland in Twickenham and he suffered another issue during England's three-day training camp ahead of summer tests against South Africa, Fiji and Argentina.

Saracens have signed former junior Springboks prop Corné Weilbach ahead of next season.

The 24-year-old tighthead joins from URC side the Stormers.

Now Saracens have been in the market for a scrummager after news that Italy international Marco Ricchioni will move to Perpignan in the summer.

Ex-Wallabies prop Jermaine Ainslie had been lined up to join from Lyon and had signed a contract with the Prem outfit back in February, but that deal was terminated with Ainslie heading back to the Southern Hemisphere for personal reasons instead.

And finally for you today, Joe Yap has been named as the first ever British and Irish Lions women's head coach.

So she'll take charge of next year's inaugural tour of New Zealand.

She won 70 caps for the Red Roses and most recently guided Australia to the quarterfinals of last year's World Cup in England.

She also had spells with the England women's under-20s, Worcester Warriors women and the Barbarians.

And the Lions will open their tour with a warm-up match against the Black Ferns 15 in Whangarei on the 4th of September before three tests against the Black Ferns in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch.
