So the second time around I told them straight away and, you know, I got their blessing sort of thing.

So that's from an assistant coaching point of view, you've got your presentation, you've got to get that ready for

before you get asked, is my theory on things.

If you get asked to present for a senior coaching job and you haven't prepared,

then you shouldn't go for it.

So I'd done all the work up to the point where the questions, you know, opportunities come up and questions were asked.

I was ready to present.

So if the assistant's not ready to present in terms of having everything in order with your philosophies, the presentation, the only thing you need to do is probably do a bit of analytics on the club and the list.

And that takes a bit of time, but there is enough time to do both if you're well prepared.

I actually employed someone to take me through a process of what it would be like as an interview.

So I sort of thought, and this is maybe a little bit arrogant, so forgive me, but I thought I can coach, I'm ready to go.

But I don't know how to do a job interview.

I never really had one.

So, or, you know, presenting for a senior job.

So I employed someone who'd been on a few panels and I said, right, what do I need to do?

What are the questions I'm going to get asked?

What's the psych test I need to do?

So I went and did all that and prepared my presentation accordingly.
