So, yeah, the only thing that's different with these processes, it's around 16 this week, and these jobs have been up for grabs for...
five, six weeks now.
And that's the different pace around, okay, it's around 12.
Are you willing to let your assistant coach go through this process where the decision might be made before, you know, August?
So that's the challenge for all these three clubs, including Tasmania, about what do they do with these assistant coaches who are, you know, right in the mix for some ultimate success in the long run?
And how do the clubs feel about that?
That's a good question because I'm a bit like you, and obviously I'm on the selection panel at Carlton, but I'm only at the end there when they've selected the coaches that they'd like to present.
That's when I come in.
So I've got nothing to do with this process at the moment.
And I'm like, come on, let's go.
I'm ready to go.
I'm ready to start reviewing.
But reality is, if you select a coach at round 12 or 13, what happens to the rest of your season?
And we sort of get it if it's a, if it is a Dean Song or Josh Fraser, then you can continue to roll.
But if you happen to get any of the coaches that have been bandied around and it's around six today, it happens next week.
What happens to the rest of the season?
Do they come in and coach?
Do they sit in a box?
Do they obviously get to work with recruiting and, you know, trying to, and if you're Tassie, obviously you're trying to sell the club a little bit as well.
So there's the club who selects the senior coach.
