Meal planning is another saving strategy that everyone can implement.
But not just any meal planning, strategic meal planning.
Start with what's on sale.
So let's say spinach is on sale.
You could use that to plan to make some stuffed chicken or maybe a soup or a salad in your meal plan.
You can also check your pantry and your stockpile and build meals around what you already have.
I once spent under $20 for a full week's worth of groceries because I planned my meal plan around the sales and what was already in my pantry.
And so I didn't need to buy that many fresh products for that week.
Absolutely.
Couponing can get pretty intense.
There's a lot of information to cover about it.
But fortunately, there are bloggers who have already done heavy lifting for you.
So there are sites like Kroger Crazy, that's one of my favorites, that will list sales for the week and then match the sale with a coupon.
Sometimes they'll even provide you with a link for a printable coupon that you can just click on and you can print out a coupon.
So, matching a coupon with a sale price will help you save even more.
And these sites will tell you if the price is a stock-up price so you can know if the price is within a range that it's worth stocking up and filling your pantry or your household items with for a few months.
I know I mentioned Kroger Crazy.
That's one of my favorites because I have a Kroger store in my area.
But if you don't have a Kroger store, there are similar sites for other grocery chains.
It's a great way to save without spending hours of researching and cutting coupons that you're not ever use.
