I had a great job and I decided that I wanted to be a coach.

And so I went and I did my coach training.

I did it in a different order.

I did my coach training first and then to finish my certification, I needed to have five paying clients.

Like you had to maintain this, a roster of five.

So they recommended you have eight paying clients while you did the rest of the certification.

And that was great.

I was like, yeah, I'm going to quit my job.

This is going to be great.

This is what I meant to do.

And there was this problem that it came up time for the certification starting and I had none.

I had no clients, zero.

And so I was in this place of,

Well, I want this thing, but I'm not doing it.

So what did I do?

I realized that if I really wanted it, I had to get out and talk to people and invite them, like really just boldly make the ask.

And the funny thing was that the minute that I took that approach, I was fully booked within about 10 days.

That was it.

That was all it took.
