Okay.
I grew up in New Orleans.
I moved in New York.
I wanted to follow the entertainment industry I loved.
movies and TV, and I became a writer for television.
And then I also worked for Judge Judy, which is a very fun job.
And then I met my husband in Los Angeles.
But we were older, we were like in our mid 30s.
And I thought, I was never really interested in getting married, like I just really wanted to keep working.
And then we met and fell in love and we got married.
And then he said to me one day, oh, yeah, let's move to Miami.
And I thought he was joking because that's what old people do.
And we were I mean, we were 35.
We weren't old.
So we ended up moving to Miami and I still was kind of half in half out.
So I'd come back to L.A.
a lot.
but we would visit each other.
And on one of those visits, I got pregnant.
