And I think there's so many, it's funny, I talk a lot when I go and watch the young girls playing on parks and, you know, the young under 10s, under 12s, and there's such a hunger in this country for young players and

it's fascinating to see.

And I think that it's going to take time, right?

It doesn't happen overnight.

You know, they've got the academy system coming in, obviously the National Pathway Programme that's just started actually.

And, you know, you've got all of these important moments, but I think there has to be a level of patience because I think there's a belief that

League of Ireland is there and it's not it's on its way up look it took the women's championship in England 10 years to get to where they got to and now you're starting to see it come to fruition but it takes time and I think there's got to be some patience with it as they grow

Because you want the best players.

You're going to select the best players.

You can't select because they're playing football locally.

The League of Ireland is a part-time league.

So when we've bought...

players in it's it's not as as as uh straightforward as maybe people think it is performing at a part-time level compared to not just full-time but is it a big adjustment for them when they come into camps i know you've had home-based players coming into camps you get a look at them firsthand then i would say so yeah and i think that they would say so i think um you know a couple of really coped i think avian clancy's shown that she's coped and you know physically the demands are huge you know they really are and i think that some have coped where um

and continue to cope what I would say is I wouldn't be saying you have to go and play in England you have to go and play abroad most important like I say to my daughter go and play and play with a smile on your face that's where we're going to see the best out of you right where that wherever that takes them that takes them but we will continue to look at the League of Ireland players we will continue to look you know in England in the UK and we'll select the best possible players that we can

But, I mean, look, I've got a wonderful group at the moment.
