Well, I didn't intend to write Natalie, but as soon as I found her, yes, I knew.

I mean, I just wasn't afraid of the whole unlikability thing.

I'm not interested in that.

I like, I know other people are, and that's your own.

I mean, every reader goes on their own journey and, you know, God bless, God bless on your journey.

But I just don't care.

I love unlikable women.

I love reading them.

I love watching them.

And so that wasn't a concern for me.

But one thing I did know that you kind of lean towards is that

there is this expectation that people change and that they learn lessons.

And I knew that Natalie wasn't going to be that kind of person.

And that was almost more scary to me.

Cause I was like, Ooh, that's really going to piss readers off.

But I just, it just was the book I was going to write.

And I just thought, you know, people are going to, they're going to roll with it.

Um, if it works for them and it worked for me.

Yes, I was.

I, I find the conversation always to be a little disappointing, but it doesn't surprise me.
