And I think to you too, having seen the way that that's impacted your work.

I want to run this back because the way I start the Masking Taste podcast usually is asking one question that that grounds the conversation.

And so for you, Johnny, what is one of the hardest things about being a man right now?

Yeah.

And at the same time you realize that like doing that inner work yourself is gonna help you better show up for other people in the long run.

So like how do you do that inner work and also know to like not get stuck in that rut, to be able to to come back out of that inner work and do the outer work in community, which is what you've done.

But I think you touched on an important point there is the building the emotional strength to ha to be able to do emotional labor in the future.

And I think as a young

woman doing the masculinity work.

I get to have a lot of conversations with young women about their honest thoughts about relationships right now.

And as we're in this period of economic crisis, I've heard from multiple young women, like if there's a man that's not going to be able to provide economically or emotionally, then what are they bringing into my life?

Like if they can't provide as much economically right now, I'd love for them to show up with some of the emotional labor more too.

So how do you learn how to take on

emotional labor, especially if you weren't raised to be prepared to do that.
