In practice, it doesn't eliminate flexibility.

It changes where flexibility lives.

So, yes, institutions need the preposition fund, need to preposition funds, right?

But tools like liquidity management transfers, the famous LMTs, right, with FedNow, allow them to rebalance liquidity in real time and optimize positions across accounts.

So flexibility hasn't disappeared.

It has shifted from being credit based to operational and it has become much more time sensitive.

So what we've what we're seeing in the market is that institutions that are successfully navigating this are evolving in three key ways.

So I'd say that the first one is from static to continuous forecasting.

So they're leveraging real-time data and behavioral models to dynamically adjust liquidity buffers, especially across weekends and off hours, of course.

And I'd say that second, from passive to active liquidity management.

So they're moving liquidity in real time using tools like LMTs that I just mentioned, sweeps and funding agents to actively manage positions throughout the day.

And then third, from manual to automated treasury operations.

So this includes real time dashboards, alerts and triggers and API driven infrastructure that allows them to respond instantly to changing conditions.

So again, if I had to summarize it, liquidity management is a valid consideration, but it's definitely not a blocker.

It's a capability shift.

institutions that adapt their liquidity practices

to real-time environment are the ones that will fully capture the value of instant payments.
