So really, the fact is, let's face it, many people forget how to pay their utility bills simply because the process is too complex.
So I've seen this firsthand.
I have two senior executive friends that
had their electricity shut off because they forgot to pay.
And then they struggled to turn it back on because they couldn't recall the process.
So that's like real life examples.
So another strong use case is earnest money deposits in real estate.
So today, those payments can introduce delays due to wires, cutoff times, and manual confirmation processes.
Like with the QR codes and instant payments, you can move funds and confirm receipt in real time.
So helping really like streamline the closing process and reduce time to access the property.
In fact, like I I've spoken, and I think I've mentioned that to you before, but I've spoken with one of the largest title companies in the U S and there's real interest in adopting QR codes and instant payments precisely to remove that friction from the process.
So that's actually a question I get quite often.
And I find it really interesting because there's definitely a perception challenge around QR codes.
There's almost a cloud of fear around them.
And in many cases, that perception becomes a reason not to adopt the technology.
But when you look at the reality, like QR codes, when they're properly implemented, right, they can actually offer very robust security mechanisms, especially when compared to some legacy payment methods.
And an example that I know that you love to talk about also is checks, for example, right?
