So any consumer could pay any merchant regardless of their bank.
And that kind of network effect is what really drives scale.
So now bringing that into the U.S.
context, right, because I think that's the most relevant part for us here.
I have to highlight that there is a slightly different dynamic when it comes to the U.S.
So the U.S.
has a more of like a market-driven approach with multiple players in standards body.
We're probably not going to see a mandate from the regulator establishing that banks are going to have to adopt this.
But with this environment with multiple standards body, a good example for it is the Accredited Standards Committee, X9, right?
It is working on QR code standards and institutions will be able to adopt them as they evolve.
So that's a very positive step towards interoperability.
In terms of use cases, I don't think it will be a one-to-one replication of Brazil.
And it doesn't need to be.
So, for example, in restaurants, consumers in the U.S.
may still prefer to use credit cards to accumulate rewards.
And there are very strong use cases where QR codes can bring immediate value.
So what we're seeing here is an adaptation of the solution to the local behavior.
So bill pay is a great example.
Paying a utility bill today can still be surprisingly complex.
So logging into different portals, remembering credentials, navigating multiple steps.
