And it's how you feel in the moment and it's how you feel afterwards.
And it's how you feel maybe, you know, a couple of weeks from now.
And the things that we do, some of them will be
ask us to move towards the anxiety and some of them but there's always a time and a place to just, you know, say, I've I've actually had enough worried about that today.
I'm gonna distract myself.
There's room for both of those things.
But it's really trying to cut out the noise of social media, which is hard and because everything is sold to us as like the one thing that you will change your life and will make such a difference.
And it can't all do that, do you know?
I think it took me a very long time to get there because it was really so brutal at times that I thought, no, I wouldn't I wouldn't choose this.
But now looking back, I'm so grateful for my awareness of my body, how forgiving I am of myself when I have these reactions, if I do, how sensitive I am.
Um turning towards myself with with compassion, which I just think we need so badly to cope through life and you know, the world that we're living in.
Um and also particularly when I became a mother, I was so grateful.
Like my son is autistic and his anxiety is such a huge part of that.
And I I think had I not had this learning, this self awareness um myself, I would have found that so much harder.
Um so and I I I love being able to intimately know myself and know, do you know what that's too much for me or yeah, actually I think this is the time where I will push myself.
Um and and that's life changing, do you know?
And that's why the book is the the subtitle is like a j um a roadmap back to yourself because we're always thinking of moving away from it.
We want to get as far away as possible from the uncomfortable feelings.
But the discomfort and the discord and the anxiety is asking you to turn towards what you need and yourself.
And now I know myself so well that and that's probably why anxiety doesn't really feature anymore.
