And it's very hard to teach people, especially of a certain generation.
It's just like because there's a belief that like if you really want to, you could just not be that way.
And it's like.
Yeah, and he'd be very aware.
Like if you started talking about him saying, oh, like, you know, that's too much for him.
He'd struggle with that.
He'd be like, he'd get really self-conscious.
He'd feel a lot of shame.
He's just like a little sensitive, open bud absorbing everything and doesn't feel safe in the world.
And that is so hard as a parent because you're like, all I've done is try to make you feel safe, but it's not a, it's not a nurture thing.
It's just a wiring.
So yeah, it's been really, really, really, really tough.
I don't know how I wrote a book in the middle of all that, but I did.

What's it about?
It's called Everything I Wish I'd Known About Anxiety.
And it's not a parenting book at all.
