Um we also had a guest that um popped into the tasting room.
They actually um were in a restaurant in Amanus and then they asked whether um they could come up and visit the estates because they'd enjoyed our wines for dinner.
And um they asked to see me afterwards and I found out that there were two doctors from the Texas Children's Hospital.
They've subsequently
provided a state of the art women's healthcare bus, which is um part of the Pebbles project now.
Um so I'm actually meeting them in a week's time, but this is a two-year project.
And so, you know, things like this have a major impact on the community.
The other thing that's really important is sourcing local people.
And I think that that's really important because they are very much part of the whole
Tewa here in a way, you know, um they have incredible skills.
They've grown up on the farms, they understand the weather conditions, the soil, they know the indigenous plants here that are edible.
Um so at Pebbles we have um a project um a little way up the Himlen Ader.
It's about two and a half kilometers from us.
I literally um I was driving um down the road one winter morning about um ten years ago and I saw these children it was a bit more, probably twelve years ago, and I saw these children walking
barefoot in very wintery conditions and I went and asked my team if there was a school here.
And my thing was that, you know, the children from the Himalayan Art deserve to have as good an education as my children and also the guests who come to visit creation.
And um so
I went and um looked at the school and thought we need to do a lot of support around the school.
It was really struggling.
And I also then decided that we needed to understand how we could do that and if the community wanted that.
