You know, I'm not feeling good in myself.
That really impacts how they feel about themselves.
And it does impact on their learning and the brain.
And they've only got so many spaces in their brain to be able to listen, follow instructions, try and figure out this whole crazy game of school if it's quite new to me.
And emotionally, if I'm not feeling good or safe or I'm overwhelmed, it's very tricky to get into that learning brain.
Yeah.
I always think of as adults, we always think of play as being, you know, it's quite a frivolous thing that children do, but it's actually they're hardwired to play and it's how they learn best.
So those playful interactions as parents that we can have with our children are really fostering and developing a lot of those interactions.
social, emotional and other early literacy and math skills, the foundation skills that we talk about.

We're sharing our language.
You know, we were created to speak.
We weren't actually created to read and write.
That just is something we've evolved to do.
But speaking in our home language, if it's not English, it could be other different languages.
But also sharing and gifting that with our children is so important.
What would you say is important to develop there?
I feel like we do.
We'll sound really quite anti-device and we're not because we live in a very technological world.
