Yeah, and it's actually a perfect book for summer reading.
If you're just someone who loves food, you'll recognize a lot of the things that he shouts out in his book.
I completely agree.
Other thing, Sonia, is that he really gave some advice about hosting that I'm taking to heart.
And he had some great tips that I'm for sure going to take into my summer hosting.

We met in Los Angeles over 15 years ago as personal chefs and haven't stopped talking about food since.

Adam, we love to start off with a really difficult question, which is, what did you eat for lunch today?
Or what are you going to eat for lunch today?
Well, that's a story for another day.
But I will say she has an incredible garden.
And so I was invited to come and harvest food from her garden.
And then I cooked a dinner party that I actually got to be a guest at too.
So it was pretty amazing.

Adam, one of the characters in your book owns a culinary bookstore that's based on several that we love and admire, including Bonnie Slotnick's in New York and Omnivore Books in San Francisco.
It's clear how serious you are about cookbooks.
And I'm just wondering if there is a cookbook that you feel like every home cook should own in their kitchen.
