Yeah, I agree.

I actually own that book as well.

I didn't catch this in my reading of the book, but my friend Malin, when she makes burgers, which is something Nancy does at home all the time, she puts mustard on them before putting them on the grill.

And that's one of her big tricks.

It's sort of trickled back to me in a different way, but it is a genius book.

You know, Adam, I'm wondering if you have, aside from Anna Garten and Nancy Tilberton, do you have other big culinary inspirations when you're cooking in your kitchen?

Is there someone else that you're also kind of channeling while you're doing that?

I think that's such good advice.

And I will say also spaghetti sauce marinara was like my gateway.

One of the first things that I tried many, many times and failed at.

And so it's really been something over the course of time that I've really worked on.

But Adam, I want to pivot to your Substack, formerly your blog.

It's been such a resource for so many cooks.

You offer restaurant reviews and the dishes that you make for your dinner parties are truly enviable.

I'm wondering if there's a menu that really sticks out that is successful or that you repeat.

I do think that grilling and smoking are two completely separate things.

I think that's a whole nother world.

I feel pretty competent on the grill.
