I've never smoked anything.

I have friends that have those big green eggs and they smoke ribs for hours and hours on end.

And I'm just like, I don't have the patience for that.

I'm just not that kind of cook.

But Adam, I wanted to ask you because now that you're going to be outside grilling, I wonder if you'll use your chocolate chip cookie trick or if you have another go-to summer dessert that you're thinking about for the summer with being outside on the grill.

It's also very satisfying to make your own ice cream.

You know, you sort of watch it come together and then you're like, oh, I did this.

And you can do it ahead of time.

Yeah, I think that's a really good suggestion.

I'm wondering if you have a go-to response when one of your guests says, what should I bring?

Do you always let people bring a bottle of wine?

Yeah.

I think that's such a good tip.

As someone who has cooked professionally, that's something I really struggle with as a host is this idea that I would like sit down and for 30 minutes and not do anything because I do invite people into my kitchen.

I'm a little opposite.

I worked as a personal chef.

So people were always in the kitchen with me always talking to me.

And so I can do that.

But it does make for like a distracted host.

I definitely still struggle with that.
