But then they Nate had said that he thought it should go to Tiago.

And so for him to get kind of thrown into that situation, I thought he did a fantastic job dealing with it.

I mean, there's there's obviously no manual approach.

of instructions to tell you like, Hey, this is how you go about getting your team focused and ready to play when your head coach just got federally indicted.

So like, that's obviously a unique experience on its own that there's really no, no,

Again, there's not like a standard operating procedure for when something like that happens.

So I think for him to be able to get that team together, the coaching staff together, the staff at the practice facility and to get them refocused on the task at hand, I thought he did a fantastic job of that date.

I won't say they moved on quickly from it because obviously, you know, there was a lot of guys on the team that were close to Chauncey and, you know, that a lot of the reasons why they wanted to be important was because of Chauncey.

So it wasn't like it just resolved itself right away.

But I was really struck by how quickly

the organization under Tiago was able to, again, get everyone kind of back on the same page and to get them focused on playing games the next day.

And I think, you know, after a couple days of, you know, questions about Chauncey and how the team was dealing with it and, you know, Tiago really kind of getting thrown again into a situation that, you know, he really didn't sign up for.

I thought that he did such a great job of getting the team

Everyone kind of moving back in the right direction and playing a really interesting style of basketball, too.

That's the other thing about Tiago I thought that, you know, was really impressive this season was that, you know, they really changed a lot of the ways that they played on both sides of the ball from last season to this season or I guess the season before that.

And so they were really installing both a new offense and defense system.

without their head coach who just got arrested and with a lot of new players in the organization and for them to go better than the 500 this year, I thought was an achievement in and of itself.

But even then they had a bunch of injuries where

if they hadn't had those injuries early on in the season, they were really playing some dynamic basketball.
