And then I just talked.
I literally just talked nonstop for about 10 minutes.
And Amanda's nodding at me and she's going, uh-huh, yep, okay, no worries.
She was just listening.
She was just being present.
And as I talked, I resolved a whole lot of stuff and I drew some conclusions and I identified some actions that I was going to take and I identified which pieces of the information I was going to leave behind because it wasn't for me and other pieces that I was going to do some more work on.
And at the end I just said, okay, cool, great, thanks, I'm done.
And she just cracked up laughing at me.
And she said, you know I didn't say a word, right?
And I actually hadn't realized that.
I looked at her and went, oh my goodness, I just did that myself.
I just did that myself.
So what I realized about myself, and I see this now so often in my clients, that verbal processing, that thinking out loud,
is how we process information it's
It's how we make sense of all of the stuff, all of the stuff.
Now, whether it's because the hemispheres of our brains are connected differently or whether it's a neurodivergence thing, and I'll talk more about that in a second, it doesn't matter.
It doesn't matter why or what's causing it.
Recognizing that that's how it is is the important part.
So let me go into the neurodivergence piece as well.
Now, I need to very clearly say I am undiagnosed with anything, right?
