It was just how it used to be.
When my boss returned, my signs made her laugh, but she asked that I take them down to avoid trouble with either maintenance or the doctors, who were, believe it or not, even more petty than we were.
Okay.
So I took my signs down and we never had a pee incident again.
Oh, yeah.
However, I have noticed that as a result of this incident, the rest of the office didn't seem to treat me the same way as they used to.
They regularly tease me about this as if I alone was the insane one.
But it was all of us who had piled into the bathroom every time something happened.
They had all thought both of the signs were funny.
The one that I got at the garage sale and the one that I printed.
But for some reason, they all seemed okay with our bathroom being taken over by monsters.
And they've never expressed any relief or gratitude for the fact that our bathrooms have returned to normal.
They all just act like, whoa, Jane, remember when you were crazy obsessed with the bathrooms?
What the fuck?
