I didn't think my hair was falling the right way.

So I ended up taking one photo I had of myself at a wedding that a professional photographer took just randomly when I was

sitting and drinking some water or something.

I thought that that photo was best because it was professionally edited.

I was dressed up and I thought that it showed how I physically had changed because I look very different again from freshman year.

So I decided to use that photo.

I did not.

I definitely did not go into it thinking I would also feel inadequate through LinkedIn.

I think the biggest thing is social media shows kind of the best parts of your life.

It shows like your vacations or your happy moments.

And LinkedIn is the exact same way, but with more professional experiences.

And it's just a weird way to see your friends when you connect with them and you don't see them that way usually, but now you're seeing what they've done in high school.

what they've done to further their career, what makes them qualified for the career that they're choosing.

And it definitely makes you feel inadequate, for sure.

As I've grown in college, I've gotten way more connections from people I maybe pass by in the cafeteria or maybe former teachers.

I do still feel a little bit weird when I connect with people I don't know or their connections of connections, because I can definitely tell that it's people who just go on that explore page and connect with people who have maybe second connections or third connections.

And in the end, I do end up connecting with them, but

It definitely feels a little bit odd because I don't know them at all.

And that's not really the point of LinkedIn again.

But yeah.
