It seems to be something that's sort of not being talked about.
There's certainly no emphasis on that.
I've already said that we're probably not allocating a huge amount to domestic equities because we think, and while we think those companies are fine, right, CBA and BHP and ANZ and Telstra and Woolworths, they're all fine.
They're all going to be there.
It's just that we think for the risk that we take our marginal dollar is best invested in global equities.
But this is a period over the last kind of sort of six, eight,
12 months, and I think into the future more and more, where you have this significant kind of upswing off the back of momentum, and then bad news comes out and it falls through the floor.
You know, we all saw kind of what happened to, you know, CSL and Cochlear and Brambles and all those where, you know, the single stocks have moved in by, you know, 10 or 15% in a day.
Diversity has never been more important.
Trying not to just catch kind of momentum on stuff has never been more important.
And I think diversity within the markets has also been, you know, really important.
So, you know, we as a business used to put together, you know, single stock name portfolios and try it out for the market.
We don't bother anymore.
So the way that we sort of solve for our public markets is using ETF synthematics just to make sure that we're taking advantage of the whole of market and the whole of GDP growth.
So I think, you know, in truth, probably avoid some of the single stock risk because you don't need to take it.
You're going to get good enough returns where the good stuff floats to the top anyway.
Yeah, we don't use them at all.
Oh, really?
So out of $3.5 billion, apart from a couple of institutional mandates where we have to hold investment-grade bonds, we hardly hold them, just be really mindful that anything with duration is going to get smashed.
So don't do that.
