And I write about poetry and I want to be able to feel those sounds in my body a bit.
I know that sounds remarkably pretentious, but poetry is something to be read, to be said, to to sort of feel in a bodily way.

our homes and workplaces were were bombed, that would kind of eradicate the idea that you had a future and possibly the idea that you had a past.

It would render your world completely meaningless.

In a f in a way, poetry is the form that is best able to
to sort of scrape up those fallen fragments of meaning and reconstruct them into something that expresses some kind of feeling about the here and now.
