So I've defined the question as proportionately who went home with more medals, Olympians or Paralympians?
No, no, of course not.
So, first of all, more than twice as many Olympic athletes competed in London than Paralympic athletes, almost 11,000 compared to about 4,500 Paralympians.
But looking at the official medal tables, I see there are fewer events in the Olympics.
Yeah, there are about a third fewer, 961 compared to just over 1,500 in the Paralympics.
Well, you'd think so, but the Olympics has far more team sports.
So actually more Olympic athletes went home with a medal, almost 1,800, compared to just over 1,400 Paralympians.
But there were thousands fewer Paralympians competing.
So the final answer?
The final answer is that at these Games, proportionately speaking, more Paralympians won medals than Olympians.
