They're
either following niche areas of the market or they're active ETFs.
But yeah, from my perspective, an ETF is a, you know, a broad, low cost market following, you know, product.
Yeah, I agree.
Yeah, sure.
I mean, there's more and more players entering, but the biggest players in the space, it's a combination of some of the big global players like Vanguard and BlackRock owns the iShares brand.
State Street is another big player.
So these are some of the big global brands.
And then you've got some local players like BetaShares, a fantastically successful local business that I think is now the second largest player in Australia after Vanguard.
Global X, you know, a global player as well.
And so there's a range of players.
And when I've done some analysis recently that I think it's the top sort of half a dozen or so players, you know, manage 90% of the assets.
And then there's a trail of smaller managers.
I mean, I think you're right.
And like going to your kind of earlier example, I think the challenge in the past with these fund managers that would charge one or 2% is that investing against the market is a zero sum game.
So for every manager that won, there was going to be one that lost.
And I think people realized that over time.
You're right.
These days, it's so hyper-competitive in the ETF space.
And again, talking about the broad market ETFs, that there's basically a fight to get down to almost zero cost.
