So I think he's going to attack him from the right.
I don't know that that's the smartest thing to do, candidly.
I think Trump has a tremendous amount of support among the right.
I don't know that you unseat that support.
At the same time, I think it would be dicey to run to Trump's left because I don't know that there's all that many votes over there.
I mean, Rudy Giuliani tried to run to the left in the primary.
That didn't work.
So there's not a ton of votes.

Well, that certainly is to the left of Trump's question.
I think DeSantis' problem is I don't know that he could sell a message to the left of Trump the way that he governed in Florida.
Remember, he just finished the Florida legislative session, so he got reelected by 20 points in 2022.
They just had their legislative session this first five months of 2023.
They did things on immigration, on abortion, on...
I guess you would describe it as wokeness in schools, on books being banned, that sort of thing, that are not issues that he could position himself to the left of Trump on.
So I just don't know that there's a lot of room to Trump's right in a race.
I don't think Trump is particularly ideological, but I think his supporters...
are very much gathered on that right-hand side of the conservative spectrum.
Everything you just said is 100% right.
Yeah, I think the best case scenario for DeSantis to answer that question is to be determined.
