I think the worst case scenario is he's not great on his feet, and we've sort of already seen that, that he's not great on his feet, and Trump is going to eat him alive.
I mean, again, I think something you have to remember here is not only is Donald Trump made for
these sorts of moments.
Whether you like him or you hate him, he's good on his TV.
He's good on live TV.
He understands how TV works and what TV wants.
I mean, I would argue he doesn't say anything in these debates.
He just kind of talks over you and insults you.
But it works.
DeSantis has never been in a situation like this before.
He's never debated multiple candidates, you know, five, six, seven candidates, which is what he will do in the first debate, which is in August.
He certainly never had to debate someone like Donald Trump before.
And Trump has a unique advantage in that regard, I think.
He is, of all the candidates, Nikki Haley, Tim Scott, DeSantis, he's the only one who's done all of this before.
He debated a million times during the 2016 race.
He debated Joe Biden in a general election debate in 2020 and Hillary Clinton in 2016.
So he has the experience of having done all this before, and I think that's a huge advantage.
Yep, it's amazing.
And don't forget, he's under federal investigation for the way in which he handled classified documents and state investigation in Georgia for attempting to overturn the election in Georgia in 2020.
