Yeah, I always say this.
It's like, you know, Trump complained about how much golf Obama played.
Democrats complained about how much golf Trump plays.
None of them came anywhere close to the amount of rounds that Eisenhower played.
I mean, Eisenhower would go to Colorado for basically the entire summer, certainly once it started to get really hot in DC, so July, August.
And he would just now they would move kind of like the operational White House out there.
It's not like you took off, but he would play golf every single day.
He played far more than any any other president post-World War Two.
I will also note it was the 50s.
We didn't have Twitter in the 50s.
We didn't have camera phones to capture him out on the golf course.
But, you know, so the the number of outlets covering the president was far smaller.
So there wasn't a level of scrutiny.
You could never, Eisenhower could never
play the amount of golf now in this media environment that he did back then.
It's just, it would, it would become a, it was, it was something of an issue.
His critics would kind of note that he was always on the golf course, but it never really, he never really lost that veneer of, of, of he won us world war two.
