There's something psychologically hard when I'm like, I think I'm gonna take this flight.
So I don't really want to pay twenty percent more for refundable.
But with the changes that are happening with like basic business fares and like I worry that we're gonna enter a point like Aeroplan, which is Air Canada, where they're like, if you want this to be refundable with no fee, it's eighty thousand points instead of seventy thousand points.
Right.
And so if we enter that world, which I really hope we don't.
But it somewhat seems inevitable, then it'll probably make the calculus harder and easier at the same time.
Cause you're like, you're comparing apples to apples, but now you've just got more variables to compare.
I think I need to create a rule that is just like we only buy refundable tickets.

could just set it in stone, it'll solve a lot of problems for me, but it's still so hard.
if you have to cancel the flight, for sure, if you don't have a cash flow reason to get the money back immediately, wait until as close to departure as you can.
Because I booked this flight to go from LA to San Francisco.
And one of the things I do, which is a little crazy, but because I have a lot of points, like I don't know how l how LA Travis is gonna work.

So I was like, I know when my meeting ends, but I don't know when I can get to the airport.
So I had a flight on Delta, American, Alaska and United and it led like every thirty minutes all on point so I can cancel it.
