My first memories are seeing Chrissy and John, Jimmy, that wave of American tennis that popularized the sport in our country.
And then in high school, started playing a lot more.
And it was Becker and Steffi and, you know, Boom Boom Becker.
And I even liked Yvonne Lendl a ton.
And it might have been because I was just kind of the contrarian and everybody liked other people.
And Lendl wasn't always so popular, but I loved watching him play.
And then when I got there, the first time I went was 2007 to do a highlight show.
And I just couldn't believe it.
It's exactly as I remembered seeing on TV.

the the match courts are so gorgeous i mean shout out to neil stubly he's the head of courts and horticulture so um you know incredible job with his nine tons of grass seed every year um so it was just so beautiful and and then just to see the players like patrick said that first weekend you go out to the practice courts called a rangy which is at the far end of the
