things i feel like would maybe be like so much more thoughtful and impactful but he knows like it's driving towards a conclusion one of the reasons why i think it they start to blur in your head a little bit because i mean from this point on it's continuous action uh and you know the kind of cliffhangers are almost arbitrary where they're divvied up in the books
And so there is just kind of this feeling of like, yeah, like you just said, like, I need this.
Like, this is an episodic sort of obstacle that needs to be gotten over.
But we all know where this is driving anyway, much like, you know,

Martin had maybe written this, maybe you can't say this, but accepting that, like, you know, there's not that much peril to book five in a seven-book series.
Like, what's it going to do?
Kill Jake and Susanna?
Like, no, we're going to have the Tet kind of exist for as long as it can.
And there's a whole other book before we get to the last book.
So, like, there is just kind of knowing that these final three books were sort of written and mapping out the rest of the journey.
