deliberate and delightful rerun of Magus, but with a crankier Roland and a slightly more fractured, but kind of competent quartet.

There's bubbling tension and there's just all this like weird inter-dynamics that they're all feeling, which is all really delicious to like get into the final two books.

So yeah, it's a hell of a read.

Maybe it doesn't need to be as long as it is, but also I'm not going to complain about too much of a good thing.

But that's what we're here for.

I do wonder if this is the chattiest Stephen King book in the entire canon, because it's so much conversation.

Honestly, this was, and we might have shared this opinion on our text group, but of course, just to get through this, a lot of this I have to listen to as I'm driving around.

which I found to be, the narrator's great, but it's so annoying.

And it's so annoying.

And reading it was far more pleasurable to me than listening to it.

Reading this, because I probably read half of it and I listened to half of it.

And the half when I was reading it was immensely better than the listening.

And perhaps it's because I could go a little bit eye blind to the do-ya's and the thank-ya's and just get through it and get to the point.

And perhaps when King was writing it, he didn't feel that the dialogue was bloated because he was reading it the same way.

I mean, you could just kind of pass your eyes over it and you know what's going on.

But one more thing I want to say, Neil, because you said you guys argued over what I would think about this, and we're going to save it.

But yes, for story...
