It's my dream as a kid.

And I love it.

Just showing up to do shoulder exercises and hooked up to machines and watching all your boys play is not not fun.

It's not like I don't enjoy hours on end in the training room.

I love the people that are in there.

I love the relationships you build because of it, but not not playing the game and being hurt.

And even when you're playing is still hurts and

None of that was fun.

People forget, I wasn't walking away from what I've done in the last couple years or what I did the previous however many years that was.

I was walking away from getting needles thrown in my arm and surgeries and STEM units and all this other just... No, you were walking toward finding... Yeah, I was walking towards peace.

You know?

And so it's not like I was, I wasn't walking away from a Cy Young season.

I wasn't walking away from an all-star season.

I wasn't, you know, walking away from, you know, dominating.

I was walking away from just always being hurt, always having, you know, a surgery or getting this done or getting that done.

And just, so that part of it has obviously changed.

I know that's a big, broad question.
