I'm close.
So what I was doing got me
this so like I now I know I'm on the right track I just you know you just got to keep gaining ground and then when you get it back and do everything possibly can in your power to hold that for as long as you possibly can because you know it's awesome when you got it mmm it's miserable when you don't and it's it's it's tough to get was there the and I probably asked this to you before was there the doubt one of the doubt you have that the glimmers
This year, probably not, just because we had kind of made plans, but...
Again, this game is crazy, right?
The cliches of you're never as good as you think you are, but you're never as bad as you think you are.
The game of inches, right?
You're this far away from being the best player in the league, and you're this far away from being the worst player in the league.
So you just work to...
Whenever that happens.
I saw that, and I was just smiling, shaking my head.
It's a very Joe way of saying it, but it resonated with me.
You know, which, by the way, as we're talking, I'm thinking T-shirts.
I don't think it's fair to get too far ahead of yourself.
I like the comfort of knowing where I'm going to be and what I'm going to be doing, playing baseball here.
I think that it's unfair to try to put, you know, try to throw a dart and say this is going to be win.
Because I did that once and I was way wrong.
And so I think just kind of like what I've been through and just how I've seen people's careers play out, I think it's fair to just be where you are.
Enjoy what you're doing when you're doing it.
at the end of this year, get done with the year, show up next year, play next year, and then just kind of, you can't worry about the next race before you finish the race you're running now.
