Now, the 14-year-old boy was seriously injured, but he was not immediately killed.

He was lying on the ground.

At first, he was able to move a little.

He was wearing a cap and he pushed his cap over towards the Israeli soldiers who kicked it back towards him.

He then started waving one of his arms.

And again, the Israeli soldiers started kicking towards him.

And over a period of 45 minutes,

this platoon of Israeli soldiers stood around chatting, smoking, while this 14-year-old boy bled to death.

On a couple of occasions, his mother, who was able to see it all, tried to leave the house to get to him, and the soldiers started firing towards her and hit the building.

About 100 metres away, a Palestinian Red Cross ambulance had been called, and the ambulance was there trying to get to the boy to help him.

And every time the ambulance moved forward...

One of these laser targeting sights attached to a rifle was aimed at the ambulance driver and targeted his forehead, and so he withdrew.

So we have the boy's mother trying to reach him.

We have an ambulance trying to reach him.

The child, at first, indicating that he was alive and needed help,

He was ignored while these soldiers stood around chatting for 45 minutes while the boy was bleeding to death, and he died.

And when he did die, finally the soldiers started to do something, and they picked up his body and took it away.

And last we heard, six months later, the body had still not been returned to the family for burial.

So these kinds of attitudes, I just cannot even begin to understand.

I don't know what goes on inside the head and the heart of a human being that would permit this to happen to a 14-year-old boy.
