People are convinced that the other side is evil.
And that justifies really aggressive, in some cases, I think, too aggressive behavior.
Obviously, you know, I think the justice system has been very hard on conservatives.
But...
we're seeing conservatives push back and say, now we want to throw liberals in prison and all that.
So the stakes are getting very, very high.
I think everyone thinks we need to deescalate it.
I don't know entirely how to do it other than people need to really think for themselves and watch alternative media, go to other sources of media to get your news besides
the places that just feed off your fears.
Cause it's that fear.
It's that, oh my gosh, my life will never be the same if this person is allowed to walk for, you know, like crazy stuff that doesn't really matter.
But, um, but that's people genuinely believe it.
I don't think you are actually.
Right.
They can't do that.
And the federal law, the Constitution and prior Supreme Court rulings, their opinions in other cases very clearly say you can't do that.
This really isn't even up for debate.
I did a little bit more research before coming on your show, looking into, you know, the Constitution annotation, which is the government's basically government.
blog version of the Constitution where they have all their commentary on there, and I read through this, and even the government says, yeah, this really isn't even a question.
Like, you know, the Supremacy Clause exists, it's real, and federal law preempts.
