Uh and and and the reason I say that is because it's rather comprehensive in its scope.

You know, we're really talking about HREDD.

So with Dodd Frank, for example, we're really just talking about four minerals being sourced from the DRC, Congo.

Uh and of course the the level of depth and of course the complexity um is um

unparalleled with Dodd Frank, uh and and and the the fact that you really have to reach down through your entire supply chains and really identify origins.

So there's a whole uh set of problems uh that confront companies um uh on on that front.

But

The German law is is is really looking at, you know, HREDD, so human rights and environmental due diligence.

And

very b very specific and very broad, as in your you're talking about you know your own business, your supply chains, meeting standards, upholding standards, uh and and and rolling out programs uh to to to meet those risks um and to uh mitigate remediate

Uh so it's it's in it from that perspective it is uh it is comprehensive.

Uh it allows a a company with a unique you know uh business model to really figure out you know what are our chief risks and how do we confront those.

Uh and uh so other laws may not be quite as comprehensive.

The other good thing that the

uh that the German law does is you have the obligation of effort, so uh Bemühungspflicht, which means that you uh you're you you're not um held accountable for uh the outcomes, you're held accountable to what extent you exert effort uh in doing so.

And I think that's a rather um sophisticated approach.

Um because you're not you're not asking a company to guarantee results, uh which they cannot.

You're requiring effort.

Uh and so this is sort of I think a a very unique, um, a very mature way for a policymaker to approach this space.

The other law the really to look out for um is the devoir de vigilance uh and also the
