but they reconnected with me like through my brothers and we do an anniversary meal and stuff like that like you know so I'm grateful for them as well like you know they didn't I'm still in contact with them lads as well like and then regarding your brothers don't mind you hope you don't mind me asking can you tell me a bit about them
One brother, he was 33, he ended his life.
He'd be the last person you would think would end his life.
No signs, no nothing, like, you know.
Very, very good looking lad.
Women, everyone was very, very good looking lad, like, you know.
Full of confidence, like, I would have loved him to have the confidence he had, like, you know.
He just ended his life, like, it devastated us really, like, you know.
What year was that?
2008.
20th of June 2008 yeah and my other brother then he was his twin em he kind of he kind of lost the run of himself then like and he drank and his pancreas came at him and and then he ended up in the hard stuff he ended up in heroin you know em
I was the enemy really I kind of looked after him he was in a place and I took him out of it it wasn't good it wasn't a good place I got him into got him back into the family home and I put on a bit of Sky television I got a package little Sky package it was only a couple of pound at the time like you know whatever it was 30 euros a month or something and I got the Sky back on in for him and you know like three or four days later I found out he was bringing guys into the house and they were up to everything and anything like you know and
You know, then I ended up, he ended up in a nursing home at a very young age.
It was a stride, like he was gone blind and everything.

If you could see him now, before he passed away, he was only a bag of buns in the bed, like.
What age was he?
He was 43, 33 and 43, 10 years there.
that was 2019 may 2019 and 12 months to the day um i was having a little daughter it was um may 2020 the whole country was shut down whole country as you know we were in lockdown there wasn't a sinner on the road and i went over to the cumh and i sat across the road on the wall and they told me they'll call me when when they're ready you know
so i i went at eight o'clock fellowship house were very good to me like they're kind of there i could go back and forth and stuff the fellowship house and stuff and if i wanted to stay there and there was lads in the sober house as well they were all from the west of ireland very very good guys i go up to them as well if i ever wanted to use the bathroom or anything this is further further on when i get into the story um they rang me at eight o'clock they said you
