So in the old days, you probably would have been advising people, switch, switch, switch.

At every opportunity, switch your electricity and gas.

So you said there's very little we can do.

Does switching help?

Okay.

Is there somewhere people can go bonkers or somewhere else where they can assess that?

I don't think it takes out all the switching pain.

Having done something like this myself recently, you know, you have to know how much energy you're using.

Might be a tenner per day, maybe, across your house.

I do.

There might have been a reason it was at 22 degrees because your heating system might be terribly inefficient.

So you might have to get it to 22 degrees to feel warm.

Well, people from overseas, when they come to Ireland and they hear us talking about immersions, they think we're nuts.

Now, smart meters and sort of off-peak rates, do they work?
