Not long after these uh figures were put out, and I know you haven't had a chance to really drill into them, but um according to revenue figures, uh there were a thousand and eighty five new dwellings sold in the month with a value of five hundred and sixteen million.

So some quick maths on that.

Um correct me if I'm wrong, that's an average price of four hundred and seventy five thousand euro.

What level of supply do we need to sort of meet demand in your view?

We definitely

north of fifty thousand units a year.

But what's what's your view of how many units we should be building each year to sort of meet demand?

To be fair to Mary, now it's not just uh uh Sherry Fitzgerald which is saying that we need north of of fifty uh thousand units a year built.

There are others other experts.

And then the government's own target is three hundred thousand by twenty thirty.

So over the five year lifetime of a government that suggests sixty thousand a year.
