So, really exciting time for Clare House.
So, like I mentioned before, we have our Liverpool site in West Derby, which is literally a stone's throw away from Alder Hey, which is absolutely ideal for us.
And we launched it earlier this month, the Extra Mile account, and it's all about reaching
Liverpool families and families that are surrounding Liverpool to make sure they can access our services.
Wirral is an absolutely wonderful site and does absolutely amazing things, but sometimes it is a little bit too far.
Like John mentioned, it can take two and a half hours to get over there.
And if you've got a child with complex needs,
that is even more stressful, as you can imagine.
So we launched that earlier this month, and basically over the next two years, we'll be developing that day service site into a fully functioning work and hospice.
So we'll be able to offer end-of-life care there.
We'll be able to do our butterfly support, our physiotherapy things.
So it'll house everything in that building.
And like I say, it's the perfect location.
We've got the women's round the corner.
We've got Alder High, which a lot of our referrals come from.
And our absolute dream would be to walk a family who maybe wouldn't make it all the way to Wirral because of the tunnel being a barrier and it being too far away.
But walk a family from Alder Hey to Liverpool to have our support would just be absolutely, would be the dream for us, definitely.
So, yeah, that's the most exciting thing that's happening in Clare House at the moment.
Yeah.
Yeah, just spreading awareness.
