And I don't think they've ever had a pal care doctor there at 8 p.m.
you know, in the E D and and it was like giving out this number being like, just call us, like we'll figure it out.
This is crazy, but just call us.
And I and I think we we just learned so much from from the process and the it felt like our whole city was changing every three days.

It it was an ever, ever shifting thing.
Although to start, we actually thought we would be doing a coaching line.
Like that was our idea.
We'll get people from the hospital who just like need some advice on how to have these conversations, maybe how to address symptoms.
Um, and that was not at all what we ended up doing because we we didn't realize what the problems were at first.
Yeah.
And so our work in the ED shifted a lot.
Um, because initially, again, we were there trying to drum up business.
And then we started to build like by the end of the first week, we started to see more calls.
And then the call line kind of went silent.
And we realized the problem was at that point our emergency rooms were really hitting the peak of the the surge.
Um and
The physicians did not they were they were totally swamped providing life saving care for patients.
Um, to where patients would come in and someone there might be multiple patients at once who were looking like they needed to be intubated and they did not have time, um
to have the conversations with a with the kind of time those conversations take.
