She is the daughter of the Nobel Prize winner Kazuo Ishiguro.
But her Japanese fantasy series is wildly different to her dad's work.

We're getting under the Tuscan sun with Andrew Sean Greer.

He won the Pulitzer Prize for Fiction for his wonderful comic novel, Less.
Do you remember that one about the accident-prone author, Arthur Less, having a series of adventures around the world as he avoids his ex-boyfriend's wedding?
I loved that book.
I also loved the sequel, Less Is Lost.
And now Andrew Sean Greer is out to charm us again, this time with a book set at a ramshackle Tuscan villa starring an eccentric baronessa and a hapless young American.
The book is called Villa Coco and in part it is inspired by an Italian writer's retreat that Andrew visited and worked at and the unforgettable woman.
