Yeah, anybody certainly who is going to have a scheduled blood transfusion.
And that includes whether you have not had the vaccine or if you've had the vaccine and you don't want further exposure, particularly if you've had
an adverse reaction, definitely you wouldn't want further exposure.
We're finding so much out now about the DNA plasmids, SV40 promoter that were in the vials and are now still circulating in the blood of many people along with
spike protein.
So we're in that window between when the crisis is broken out and it's not being fixed, people really need to keep themselves safe.
Pregnant mothers, they don't even need to come to us.
They could do what's called an autologist donation by donating to themselves ahead of time in preparation for delivery.
There's different things people can do, but really, if they come and reach out to us, they're not just protecting themselves, they're helping us be able to protect the larger community.
Yes, there's been a bit of that.
We had a case in Texas of a individual who was going in for open heart surgery, and he was denied his wife's donating for her.
She was a universal donor.
Friends and family were willing to donate.
They said, well, can he donate to himself?
And they said that their policy was only under medical necessity could do that kind of donation.
Now, this is very strange because there'd be nothing better for you than your own blood.
And certainly, if there was enough time for him to replenish, then that should have been a problem.
And in fact, he ended up doing a cell saver, which did use his own blood, but not by way of transfusion.
So this has been a problem throughout the country, particularly in the Northwest as well.
