And, I mean, something to know about this study, it's very small.

really just a, you know, it's a beginning study of 30 kind of undergraduate males.

So a lot more research needs to be done.

But I don't think we're about to see the demise of the heterosexual

And you touched on something a moment ago, which is about the benefits of expressing yourself.

And I've certainly seen in older generations of men is they don't have as many bromances.

They don't have this kind of intimacy anymore.

And one of the great benefits I think with young guys forming intimate relationships with other guys is they are learning to open up, to express themselves, to reach out when they're struggling and that's a good thing when it comes to mental health.

Look, the primary relationship has to always come first.

And one of the challenges of being in any intimate relationship is you have to manage what we call thirds, other people, things, you know, work.

And the important thing about that is it doesn't mean that one necessarily has to suffer.

But when your primary relationship, you have to feel like you really are the go-to person for your primary partner.

You've got each other's back.

You go to each other for anything that's really important and that has to take precedence over any bromance.

Look, it's hard to know, but one of the things that I think is one aspect of healthy relationships is you don't have to have 100% transparency with your partner.

You know, it's okay and it's healthy to keep some things separate, to keep secrets.

And one of the things that came out of this study is that men are sharing secrets with each other that they're not sharing with their partners.

And that can be a good thing.
